Dr. Tony Moore is the CEO & Founder of APEX Instructional Solutions and an expert in career development and talent acquisition. As a former Senior HR Professional and C-Suite Executive of a national staffing firm, Tony’s comprehensive knowledge of job boards, resume scanning software, job postings, and screening protocols are essential to bridging the gap between an employment offer and an automated email reply expressing regret that your resume was not selected. Tony understands the entire recruitment process, both inside, and out, and applies these key concepts to his coaching sessions with clients around the nation.

Tony is the owner of a top-five fitness franchise, Anytime Fitness since 2012 and has 25 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer with clients representing NFL, NBA, NCAA, and high school athletes.   

Finally, Tony is also a licensed Real Estate Sales Agent and a Texas Department of Insurance All-Lines Insurance Adjuster.

LIFELONG LEARNER

Tony’s strong belief and conviction that education is the key to uncovering limitless opportunities can be seen in his educational achievements. In fact, he has invested well over 18 years in his educational training. Tony has earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminal Justice and Philosophy, and two Master of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Human Resources Development. However, his thirst for knowledge and professional growth did not stop there. He decided to continue his post-graduate education in the areas of healthcare administration (MHA), Adult Higher Education, and organizational leadership. Currently, Tony is an accomplished scholar in the field of Learning and Organizational Change at Baylor University.

EDUCATOR

Dr. Moore is entering his 18th year as a college professor. Currently, Tony is a school of education faculty member at Baylor University at the doctoral level and an Assistant Professor at Colorado Tech University. He has also served as a school of business faculty member at two prestigious universities in San Antonio, Texas, for over 12 years. He provides curriculum instruction and design for 23 undergraduate, four MBA graduate courses in the areas of healthcare & business administration, management, leadership, and human resources, and two doctoral courses in philosophy and ethics in leadership and leadership and organizational change.

INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER

Tony has delivered hundreds of speaking presentations to various outlets ranging from inner-city youth to business executives of Fortune 500 corporations. He has presented at conferences, colleges, universities, school districts, churches, Department of Defense, and the Boys and Girls Club. Further evidence of his versatility can be seen in his former role as an expert fitness consultant on cable channel 14 in San Antonio, Texas, with over 1.2 million viewers.

LIFE COACH/MENTOR

Tony is a business coach, mentor, and trusted advisor to leaders representing corporations and government entities such as USAA, Best Buy, HEB, Nationwide, Target, Chase, Aramark, Methodist Hospital System, and the US Army, to name a few. He also mentors high school and college students in an effort to provide career counseling advice and guidance on career decisions.
